#1 The electronic service delivery (ESD) Scheme represents a combination of C2G and G2C activities. Another area where Hertz may benefit is in price discrimination techniques that reward safe drivers and low mileage. Hertz could also detect violations in company policies such as driving a car outside the country and could implement penalties to compensate the company.

As a renter, I would have mixed emotions regarding the GPS-based car locating system. I would probably like it in rental situations where I received discounts and dislike it in situations when I had to pay more. I would not be so concerned with the privacy aspect, but believe many car renters would.
